Weekly Shopping List for 2011-02-06
Meat:
- 2 lbs loin lamb chops, approximately 6 chops
- 2 anchovies in salt, or 4 anchovies in oil, drained
- 2 X 8 ounces pork tenderloins, cut into 2-inch pieces and pounded 1/2 inch thick
- 6 chicken breast halves , boneless, skinless (6 oz each)
- 2 lbs beef flank or skirt steak
- 2 half-pounds salmon fillets
- 1/2 cups chicken stock
Produce:
- 1 large serving of steamed spinach
- 1 six ounce clamshell blueberries
- 1 oz dried porcini mushrooms
- 1/2 cups chopped onion
- 1 lb ripe, fresh tomatoes; or 1 lb canned tomatoes, prferably Italian, drained
- 1 medium sized red onion, peeled
- 2 medium eggplants (about 7 inches long)
- 2 tbsps chopped imported black olives, such as kalamata or nicoise
Pantry:
- 1/4 cups ketchup
- 1/3 cups fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cups apple butter or applesauce
- 4 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cups white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 1 cup prepared teriyaki marinade
- 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tsp unseasoned rice vinegar
- 1/3 cups 100% pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp grated horseradish - extra hot
- 1/4 cups canola oil
- 1/4 cups Olive oil
- 8 tbsps Olive oil
- 3 tbsps pine nuts
Dairy & Poultry:
- 4 ozs fresh goat cheese
- 1 tbsp whole milk
- 4 tbsps (2 oz) sweet butter
- 3 tbsps unsalted butter
- 2 egg whites , beaten
- 1 lb mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced or grated
- 1/2 cups Parmigiano Reggiano
- 3/4 cups milk (more, as needed)
Seasoning, Spice & Herb:
- 1/2 tsps thyme
- 1 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsps kosher salt
- 3 fresh rosemaries springs
- 1 tbsp rosemary leaves, fresh or preserved in salt
- 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 freshly cracked pepper , to taste
- 1 freshly ground black pepper , to taste
- 1 pepper, to taste
- 1 sea salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 sea salt to taste
- 1 salt & pepper to taste
- 2 salts to taste
- 1 tsp chopped fresh oregano
- 1/4 tsps freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme

- 1 large clove garlic , peeled, smashed and minced
- 2 medium-sizeds cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsps oregano
- 2 garlic cloves , minced
Baking Goods & Grains:
- 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 lb flat pasta such as tagliatelle or lasagnette
- 2 cups rice, steamed for serving
- 1 cup panko
- 2 cups fine breadcrumbs or wheat germ (or a combination)
