Weekly Shopping List for 2010-08-29
Meat:
- 1 beef tederloin , about 3 to 4 lbs, trimmed
- 4 salmon steaks , 1 inch thick (6 oz each)
- 1 1/4 lbs grounded turkey
- 2 cups (about 10 1/2 oz / 330g) bite-size pieces roasted chicken
- 1/2 lbs prociutto, sliced 1/4-inch thick and cut into 1/4-inch dice
Produce:
- 1 medium bunch chopped fresh flat-leaf, Italian
- 4 medium ripe tomaoes
- 1 small tomato
- 2 celery rib
- 2 small onion
- 2 small yellow onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 large handful of baby arugula
- 1 avocado ripe
- 11 cloves garlics
- 2 large heads of cauliflower (2 1/2 lbs. each)
- 2 green onions
- 1 large fresh lemon for juice
- 1 cup (5 oz / 155g) cooked fresh or frozen peas
- 2 carrots
Pantry:
- 1 x 5lb bag of all-purpose flour
- 1 bottle of red wine vinegar
- 1 bottle of extra virgin olive oil
- 8 cups chicken stock, preferably homemade
- 1 bottle of Canola oil, for frying
- 1 box of brown sugar
- 1 bottle of soy sauce - low sodium
- 1 bottle of crisp dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
- 1 bottle of white wine vinegar
- 1 bottle of Asian sesame oil
- 1 tube of Tomato paste
Dairy & Poultry:
- 1 egg large
- 1 stick of unsalted butter
- 2 /3 cups (2 1/2 oz / 75g) grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for sprinkling
Seasoning, Spices & Herbs:
- 1 /8 tsp chile flakes or more to taste
- 1 pepper grinder filled black peppers corns
- 1 container of kosher or sea salt
- 1 small bunch of fresh sage
- 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 1 bunch of fresh oregano
- 3 inches of fresh ginger
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 bunch of marjoram
Baked Goods & Grains:
- 1 1/2 cups (10 1/2 oz / 330g) Arborio rice
- 1 lb dried spaghetti
- 1/2 cups dried breadcrumbs
- 1 lb Farro
