Weekly Shopping List for 2010-07-04
Meat:
- 12 boneless chicken thighs , cut into large pieces about 4 mc (1 1/2") square
- 1 lb. medium size shrimp (26-30), peeled and cleaned
- 2 boneless rib eye steaks (about 8-10 oz. each)
- 6 x 6 ounces halibut filets
- 2 larges (1 inch thick) pork chops, bone in'
- 3 ounces thinly sliced salami (approx. 12 slices)
Produce:
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 limes
- 3/4 lbs asparagus spears (about 1 bunch)
- 2 large onion
- 2 green onions
- 1 sweet onion
- 1 fennel bulb
- 1 bunch of chives
- 1 package frozen tiny peas (petits pois)
- 1 package of frozen peas
- 1 bunch of shallots
- 1 granny smith apple
- 7 lemons for wedges and juice
- 1 jar of roasted bell peppers
- 2 tsps finely grated lemon peel
- 1 large orange of juice
Pantry:
- 1 jar of capers
- 1 bottle of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 jar of Dijon mustard
- 1 can of oil spray non-stick
- 1 bottle of will-flavored honey
- 1 bottle of dry vermouth
Dairy & Poultry:
- 2 tub of finely grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 dozen large eggs
- 1 box of butter
- 4 ounces thinly sliced provolone (approx. 12 slices)
- 1 large carton heavy cream
Seasoning, Spices & Herbs:
- 1 grinder filled with black pepper corns
- 1 bunch of Italian parsley
- 1 bunch of fresh sage
- 1 jar of paprika
- 1 bunch of fresh dill
- 1 canister of sea or Kosher salt
- 1 bunch of fresh thyme
- 1 jar of cilantro seeds
- 1 bunch of rosemary
- 1 jar of aniseed
- 1 dried red chile pepper
Baked Goods & Grains:
- 1/2 lbs spaghetti (or any other type of pasta)
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs made from crustless French bread
- 1 lb. Penne pasta
