Ten-Minute Stroganoff
- 1 fillet steak cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 knob of butter
- 2 green onions finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brandy
- 1 teaspoon tomato sauce
- 1 squeeze of lemon juice
- 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 to taste sea salt and black pepper
- 1 8 ounce buttered egg noodles or rice
1. Sprinkle the beef strips generously with the paprika and toss to coat.
2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a wok over high heat. Stir-fry the beef and the green onion together for a couple of minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and pour out the remaining oil.
3. Over a low heat, stir the brandy, tomato sauce, lemon juice and sour cream together. Simmer for a minute or two, put the beef strips back in and stir together. Season with sea salt and pepper.
4. Serve over buttered egg noodles or rice.
5. Serves 4.
6. Serve with a vegetable of your choice
